you in staying focused and not be overwhelmed.
Take from these sittings a small set of samples that match your vision

After you have some sample Tattoo Images, go to at least 3-5 tattoo shops in your immediate area and have a look at their tattoo samples. Doing this you will narrow down to one Artist that matches your vision with regards to style, feel, color, etc. This exercise alone will reduce the risks of not getting what you want immensely.
This next may cost a little extra, but in the long run, it is
well worth it as you want to get the exact tattoo that you desire. I like to have the Artist draw up a few
designs that match what you are looking for.
You want the Artist to use full color and draw the design on paper to
the actual 1 to 1 size of the tattoo. This way you can place the sample on your body
to know in advance if it is the right size and what the positioning will be
like. You will also have a choice as each of the designs will be slightly
different. On the big day when you go to get your tattoo
done, both the Artist and you will know exactly what the final outcome should
be. There should be no surprises!
